We invite you to participate in cost-free trainings for school teachers and representatives of the Volunteer Fire Brigade.

The aim of the training is extension of knowledge and gaining practical skills in guiding local educational actions in the subject of forest fire prevention. The training program involves issues concerning the influence of forest fires on the lives of species and nature habitats, Natura 2000 regulations, methods of fire prevention, etc. There will take place a presentation of the nature qualities of Polish forests and their biodiversity; the problem of climate change will be brought into focus.

The training will include lectures and workshops. The participants will be provided with educational brochures for further use and profit during educational actions.

Two-day trainings will be taking place in the period between September 2011 and March 2012. The location will be chosen later, though all places will be accessible by means of public transport. Participation will not be charged, the organisers will cover the costs of preparing and conducting the lectures, as well as the costs of accommodation and maintenance. The organiser will not refund the travel expenses. Training participation will be attested with a confirmation and a training certificate.
